Our History

George Mason University has 26 years of experience providing experiential education programs revolving around team-building through a unique outdoor experience.  For 23 years, this program was called the Hemlock Overlook Center for Experiential Education and was based at the Hemlock Overlook Regional Park in Clifton, VA.  In 2009, we opened The EDGE and built our own Challenge Course facility conveniently located on the Mason Prince William Campus in Manassas, Virginia.  From our origins of serving the university and surrounding community, we have become a recognized leader in our field.  Our programs attract groups from the DC Metro area, across the country and around the world.
